Glaciation in the Rubies

Nevada had its share of glaciers during the Pleistocene Ice Ages. Join Southern Nevada Conservancy’s Dr. Steve Owens to learn a little about the ice ages and their effects on the Ruby Mountains, East Humboldt Mountains, and Ruby Valley. This presentation/slide show is free and will be held in the classroom space of the California Trail Interpretive Center. We’ll focus primarily on features visible in Lamoille Canyon and around Angel Lake.
