What’s Going on Around Town

The Wine Walk

The Wine Walk in Elko, NV is a monthly event running through the summer and early fall. For $25, participants can purchase a refillable wine glass, giving them access to casinos, bars and other businesses pouring a selection of reds, whites and other libations. The Elko Wine Walk is held each second Saturday of the month.

Flea Market

Elko hosts several flea markets throughout the year, offering visitors and locals the chance to barter and bargain for goods in need of a new home. The Elko County Fairgrounds is home to the Kountry Kraft Fair & Flea Market in summer, often with events in the fall, as well.

More Elko Community Events

Elko is home to a variety of other community events, from the fun and educational California Trail Days to the Mexican Folkloric Ballet Gala, a bar party at the Northeastern Nevada Museum and the Great Basin College Film Festival. Other events include the Great Basin Gear Show, a handful of road races (including the Nevada Marathon, which is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon) and a two-day Art in the Park event.
